We never thought that so many people would have gravitated to these quirky old machines, but there has been an outpouring from so many in the community of both childhood memories and current machine owners. We felt like these machines were a fringe part of the community, but we are thrilled that they are alive and well.
When we started designing the mug it was all wood and only a little modeling clay. We bought 3D printers for the flippers and lasers for the windows so we could make as much of the piece in house as possible. We sourced custom made springs, and ordered the ball bearings. This colorway is made to look much closer to the machines that we remember discovering in a relatives garage all those years ago. This is the one for those of us that own or have spent time with these machines ourselves. We wanted this one to feel authentic. The playfield is a little worn, the dust has collected in the corners, and the wood stains are a little darker. These machines have stood the test of time for 50 years now and it's starting to show. This colorway is for those of us that remember sitting on the floor and playing these machines for hours, driving our parents nuts with the noise. They weren't the pristine, fully restored machines we have now, they were the almost forgotten relics that caught our eye in the first place.

The windows are thin acrylic, so they are subject to scratching and cracks if not properly handled. We understand that some windows may get cracked in shipping, but we are prepared to send out replacements asap if needed.
